Summer Garden Workshop - A Taste of Herbs


 Lemon balm, lemon verbena, sage, or mint ... which herbal tea do you prefer?

The summer workshop in the Eco Garden will focus on growing and using herbs.
The three hour workshop will include a garden tour, hands-on learning about growing and using culinary and medicinal herbs, a chance to taste teas made from a variety of fresh herbs, an afternoon tea which includes herbal baking, and herb seeds or a herb plant to take home. All for only $30!

The workshop runs from 2 p.m - 5 p.m. on Sunday February 26. Numbers are limited to 12 – early registrations are advised - by Sunday, February 19.

  1. I wish they would have this seminar again for this year. I want to learn all about these herbs because my little sister and I have been planting some of them in our backyard. Right now, I want to learn about the medicinal uses of sage leaves because we're gonna plant them next.

  3. Found it! Sage and Marigold do sound good together, but reading "vodka" in a medical blog is kinda weird! Well, I guess I just need a copy of Grow your own drugs: A Year With James Wong too!
    My sister's about to grow her sage. I'm so excited to use all our herbs in the backyard, now that I'm learning a lot of their uses from your blog. Thanks!
